Exchange Agent

In order to increase login security, the Authlogics Exchange Agent integrates directly with Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 providing varying risk-appropriate methods of multi-factor authentication instead of the traditional password-based authentication. The agent installs directly on the Exchange server and does not require any additional infrastructure, reverse proxy servers or ADFS servers to function.

With a choice of PINgrid, PINphrase, PINpass and YubiKey multi-factor authentication methods, users can have simple and secure login access to Outlook Web Access and Exchange Administrative Centre. The Authlogics Exchange Agent provides different levels of risk appropriate authentication, from a convenient device-less (1.5 factor authentication) when using a separate device is not possible, to a robust multi-factor solution.

Authlogics Exchange Server Agent can dynamically recognise which users have been enabled for multi-factor authentication and can allow non-MFA users to login with their traditional Active Directory username and password if required – without deploying a parallel set of Exchange servers. This is makes it easy to transition users over to MFA or to simply add MFA protection to high risk user accounts.
